Are you looking to have a less traditional approach for your engagement session? More tenderness, intimate, relaxed and more you two being real and yourselves? One advice I usually give to my friends asking me for advice, be honest, vulnerable, be you. From the place you choose to shoot, from the clothes that you wear. Don’t try to be something that you’re not. Allow the photographers to capture your dynamic relationship that makes your love so unique. Forget the photoshoot part and just focus on enjoying this moment, embrace each other, laugh, interact, and don’t hold anything back. Minimalism is key. Extra props and stuff tends to make things complicated. The photographer can only capture such honesty and vulnerability if you welcome the photographer into your world. From this intention, you’ll be able to able to make something great together. And lastly, use your engagement session to forget about the long to-do list for the day and take the time to slow down to refresh and remind each other to why you’re getting married.
