Gina was from New Jersey and Sean was from Massachusetts. But it was not until they met in college that they fell in love and later got engaged while on a trip to California’s wine country. They were excited to integrate Sean’s hometown roots in their wedding day. A Cape Cod native and true Boston Red Sox, Gina supported her man’s team with a custom garter from Etsy and his cufflinks came in a “turf” lined Major League Baseball box! Gina’s purse for the day was a beaded white clutch accompanied by a white handkerchief – both “something borrowed” from her grandmother. Her Badgley Mischka wedding shoes provided a punch of navy blue, nicely tying her bridesmaids dress color into her ensemble. She gifted her girls custom hangers for their dresses and all but one dress were the same – her sister’s: her best friend and maid of honor. A purple orchid adorned the groom’s lapel and his 6 groomsmen looked handsome in black tuxedos finished with orange confetti rose boutonnieres. Gina carried a warm autumn color bouquet of orange confetti roses, purple orchids, hydrangea, orange calla lilies and eucalyptus leaves. Her 8 bridesmaids carried yellow Gerber daisies, orange confetti roses, orange Stargazer lilies and eucalyptus leaves blooms. Gina also gifted maroon pashminas to her bridesmaids to keep their shoulders cozy while taking photos on the waterfront on a brisk November evening. The theme was carried throughout to their reception. Wooden photo holds held a card that informed guests a donation was made to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of gifts. Orange tree with maroon font warmed up the escort card table, next to a mason jar and heart signing board. Their buttercream cake was covered in elegant swiss dots and finished with fall colored spray roses. Gina and Sean’s first dance was to Van Morrison’s, “Into the Mystic.” Guests quickly followed them to the dance floor and showed off their moves while a photobooth was available next door for those who wanted to be silly and dress up with the many props available.
