Whimsical Cloud Inspired Bridal Shoot

The overall shoot is meant to feel almost dream-like, and in many ways, for Tiffany of The Loved Co, this shoot was a dream come true. “Since my own wedding, where I hung DIY clouds above my dance floor, I have been dreaming about designing a cloud made out of flowers, and it was even more meaningful to bring the shoot together on my birthday with many amazing local creatives who have been a special part of my journey as a florist.”

The focal piece of the shoot was the overhead installation made of varying textures of white florals to mimic the fluffy and varying nature of clouds, with darker areas to create depth. We kept the overall table setup fairly simple to keep the focus on the flower cloud, and to also try and capture the impact a larger installation can have in your overall event design. I could definitely see it as a beautiful installation over a dance floor or over a sweetheart table. Some of my favorite details included the invitation suite designed by Hillary Hauser which included a quote about clouds, and small placecards with the names of different types of clouds in hand calligraphy. All of the plates and taper holders were handmade ceramics by Earth + Element, as well as the shallow vessel that held the locally sourced snow goose rose from Rose Lane Farms that composed the centerpiece.
