Earthy, Natural Desert Bride

With every blog post, we want touch people’s hearts, to evoke emotions and to tell authentic stories. And most of the artists and vendors that we feature on our blog are moved by this as well. Today’s photoshoot created by Blue & Ivory says, “When we’re creating an inspiration shoot or wedding, we are always very careful and thoughtful when we select every single element. It’s only when we’re intentional that the event or shoot is harmonious and unique as we envisioned it to be.” Take this stunning shoot for example. In this shoot, they asked the photographer, Merve & Nils, and videographer, iek films, to capture this shoot from the groom’s point of view, as if he can’t take his eyes off his breathtakingly beautiful wife. Every movement, every type of natural material, color, etc. was selected carefully, to stir the passion for love within you.

Fata Morgana means mirage. “In a state of awe, He keeps asking himself if this could possibly be real or if it this just an amazing dream. His soon to be incredibly beautiful wife is playing with his senses – just like a “Fata Morgana.” 

During this shoot we worked with a real Handira from Morocco – a wedding blanket that Moroccan brides used to wear about 100 years ago as a handmade gift from their mothers and sisters. Authentic and one-of-a-kind details like this enrich our stories and bring them to life.

Like Fata Morgana is a concept for the exotic and sensual couples, who are drawn towards earthy colors and natural materials.  Ingredients they used were raw and natural surfaces such as sand, wood, bast fibers and velvet, and they complimented it with soft movements, refractions of light, double exposures, fog and wind.
