Fall to Winter Bride

Inspired by the change in seasons; fall into winter, photographer, Jenzel Velo and her creative team created a bridal editorial that reminded her of what love is like. “I wanted to create an atmosphere that allows you to feel at peace, and connected, so I used elements that would bring together a romantic, elegant and minimal bridal look. Katrina from The Artistry Collective created two beautiful looks on Ambre that allowed us to go from day to evening. The Wild Bunch put together a bouquet – a perfect representation of fall blooms meeting winter florals. Meagan of The Wolf and the Wildflower created a dainty wedding suite using handmade paper. The Truvelle gowns flowed gracefully onto the wooden floors, which made it feel so fitting.”

This editorial was shot in one of the oldest buildings in North Vancouver. From the vintage elevator to the wooden floors, this heritage building just oozed charm! I wanted the set up to be very minimal and spacious to solely focus on the bridal details. The quietness of the city reflected into the building that set a calm and gentle, feel good winter type of mood.
