Oh, how lovely it would be to be in Florida right now. This past weekend I surprised my husband on a deep sea fishing trip for his birthday, and basking in the sun and the ocean breeze all day was so refreshing. As the sun set and evening rolled in, you can feel the air cool down and become chilly. I noticed right then and there that even in California, autumn has arrived on yesterday’s fall equinox.
I woke up with a sunburn this morning, but instead of heading into the UE’s HQ, I wanted to badly head out to the ocean again and hold onto summer for one more day. So this styled shoot from Shelley of Better Half Weddings & Events, Inc. and Vicki of Starfish Studios is my ode to the last day of summer inspired by their home Florida, “The Land of Sunshine.” Let’s remember the carefree summer days filled with the beauty of the sea, beach cruisers, bright, lively florals, palm trees, and even a flavored lemonade stand.
