YAY! ISSUE #013 IS FINALLY HERE! This issue is special to us, not only because it marks a new year for Utterly Engaged, but also because there have been some new changes that took place since the launch of our last issue. As of August 2010, our third partner Eva Chiou has decided to leave Utterly Engaged to pursue her own venture. We are grateful for the passion and dedication she has brought to Utterly Engaged and we fully respect her decision. There is no doubt that we will miss her dearly. But with Eva stepping down, we are happy to announce two new additions to our team. Please help us welcome Lauren Marino and Connie Lyu, our new graphic design interns! With the two additional creative talents in the house, you can expect even more eye candy and mind-blowing ideas and inspirations for our brides and readers.
In this issue, we wanted to recognize our readers from around the world and bring different cultures together in one issue called World Wide Wed. As we all know, inspiration can come from anywhere and it can definitely be from where you came from. You’ll find a sweet real wedding set in Sweden, a dapper dandy dinner soirée at a luxurious rooftop of the London Hotel, wedding styles inspired by paper from Envelopments, and many more!
With the new year comes with a face lift. You might notice some changes around here already. Slowly it’s going to evolve. But first, with the launch of our issue we are very excited to experiment with a new format of reading our magazine. You can print, you can email and even better, you can view our issue in full screen! But what do YOU think? This is just a test run so please tell us what you think. We would love to hear from you 🙂
While this issue was in production, we had two big events happened in our personal lives. Henny’s baby boy Gabriel was born and Lucia’s dad overcame a major surgery. This issue is dedicated to them and we are grateful for all your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for all your love and support. We are confident that this new year will rock even more!
Love,
Lucia & Henny
