Romantic Oregon Coast Elopement

4 years ago Stefan and Karra got married in a courthouse. Because of the nature of Stefan’s duties in the Air Force, they never had a chance for a traditional wedding. Now with two young kids later, they were inspired to have the wedding of their dreams after they saw that photographer Donny Zavala put a call out for real couples who wanted to do an elopement shoot. Donny was so moved by their story, he had to have them as their couple. He and a entire team of wedding creatives put their heart into making this day special for Stefan and Karra. They took care of the lodging, breakfast, makeup, hair, dress, rings and ceremony and all Stefan and Karra had to do was shop up, be vulnerable, share there  strong marriage, and celebrate 4 years of being madly in love.

“We handpicked a beautiful cabin on the Oregon coast hills situated amongst gorgeous forests. It was gorgeous, moody, and intimate. We intentionally kept it natural for them. Letting Stefan and Karra spend the morning waking up, snuggling, having coffee, sharing breakfast and enjoying some intimate moments together before getting prepared to partake in their Oregon coast elopement ceremony.”

“The sight at the coast was surreal; a storm was brewing bringing with it, dark and cloudy skies. The winds were blowing extremely hard but they were so gracious and open to the adventure, never giving in to the elements. We did our best to create what was a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. They were troopers the whole time and we’re very excited to be a part of the shoot. The images speak for themselves.
