It was love at first sight when Heather of Myrtle et Olive first stepped into the Whispering Rose Ranch’s Mountain Vista, a private estate with a charming Spanish Revival infused architecture. It overlooks some of the most striking views of the Santa Barbara wine country. The exterior details are mostly hand-picked historic pieces that were shipped from Spain by the owner, the famous Horse Whisperer, Monty Roberts. I discovered “The Whispering Rose Ranch” by chance when I was traveling alone to Santa Barbara to be inspired – and the next thing I knew, I had to be back to showcase this hidden gem to the world.
