California Old World Wedding at Allegretto Vineyard Resort

Inspired by the intimate, peaceful old world beauty of the abbey at Allegretto Vineyard in Paso Robles, CA, photographer Mariel Hannah and her dear friend Mint Design, created a beautiful shoot that shares their deep love for romance and refined imagery. Mariel says, “Often times as artists, we tend to look & yearn for inspiration in the most unexpected places. Even within the comfort of mundane, everyday views that life unfolds before us. As a photographer, visual scenes allow me to daydream. It slides open a door into the living world within my creative mind. I have a deep love for romance & refined imagery. All with a touch of magic and an ethereal kiss… When I first walked through the abbey at Allegretto, months before this shoot came to life, I recalled how its charm instantly opened visions and ideas into my mind. I knew in time, I must plan to create photographs within that space. I was drawn and instantly inspired by it’s European charm. Where an old world can be explored and admired.”

They incorporated elements that inspired from Italian charm and the dreaminess of french designs. Elements such as baroque candelabras to Italian church pews to soft english like inspired paper goods. It was a marry of all these ideas into one harmonious gallery.

They used a plethora of various unique blooms. Lots of ranunculus, ivory lisianthus, lush peach tulips, sweet pea, carnations, scabiosa, raspberry branch and even dried flowers and greens to name a few.
